It is written, “Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated…” (Isaiah 54:4-5)
Why are you anxious, my precious child? Have I not promised you good things? What are you afraid of? Shame? Humiliation? Of not being good enough? Of not being able to manage the busyness of this season? Of other people? Of the direction in which this world is going? I’ll tell you again, do not be afraid!
Instead, meditate on my word. On my promises. It is your armor. And as more and more piles onto your plate, you’re going to need it. Collaborate with me as I grow the gifts that I’ve seeded within your heart. Rejoice and delight in the work that we’re doing together. I’ll say it again, rejoice! The journey only gets more exciting from here.
Beware of the devil. He prowls around like a lion, looking for someone to devour. Do not listen to his lies, which only serve to distract you and take you off course. Reject these lies and arm yourself with the Truth.
That still, calm, quiet voice that comforts and guides you, that’s me. I’m always here for you. Do not be afraid.
