Just as we can only see the world through our own eyes, so can we only recognize a person’s character traits, through our own (or lack thereof).
It is for this reason that we ought not to be surprised when someone we think we know well, fails to act in accordance with the character traits which we have attributed to them in the first place.
It’s funny how most of us have seen how quickly life can change, yet few of us remember this the moment that it does.

If you have the opportunity to love someone and it lifts you up, as opposed to bringing you down, take it.
If you look at the millions of stars stretched out above you, you realize how small you are.
It’s a good thing to be reminded of. In the grand scheme of things, you’re tiny. A mere blip.
But you’re also irreplaceable, invaluable, and miraculous. Truth is, those stars ain’t got nothing on you! 😉
