Nothing More, Nothing Less
Control by letting go of control, fix your problems by forgetting they’re problems. Deal with them and the world and yourself with patience and simplicity and compassion. Let things be, let yourself be, let everything be and accept it as it is. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Patience
Be patient and wait for your mud to settle and water to clear. Be patient and wait. Your mud will settle. Your water will be clear.
The Man Box and Marriage
Men are taught for 20 years to “be a man” and control their emotions. Then we marry one and expect him to learn how to show his emotions over night. Be patient with your man. Undoing something that is 20 years in the making, takes time.
Patient Prayer
People usually know what they want but rarely do they know if they’re ready for it. They pray to God for things and then wonder whether He’s been listening at all when they don’t get them right away. I can assure you, God hears your prayers. He knows the desires of your heart and also when you are ready to receive them. When you are ready, your prayers will be answered. His timing is perfect.
The longer we wait for something, the more we appreciate it when it arrives.
