To the writers…
A story well told can put you in rooms never occupied.
Frozen in Self Doubt
Most of us are our own worst critics. When often, we need to be our own best cheerleader. Sometimes you just need to stop, look back at all you’ve been through, and thank yourself for all that you’ve done.
We’re constantly pushing ourselves forward, while forgetting to look back and reflect. Ironically, if you push yourself too hard for too long, you freeze.
The easiest way to unfreeze yourself is to stop focusing on all you have yet to accomplish and instead focus on all that you already have. Thank yourself. Be proud of yourself. Eventually, self belief will return and your motivation will soon follow.
The Lies We Tell Ourselves
Don’t listen to the lies you tell yourself. Make no excuses. You deserve the life you want and no one is responsible for withholding that from you besides your own self! Wait on nothing. Except the Lord, our God. Wait on Him only and have faith that He will see you through this rough period of your life. God rewards action. Begin today, by taking strategic steps to put “life” back into your life. Sign up for activities, groups, volunteer, anything and everything that makes you feel alive!
